Hessel is big, he is gorgeous with a lovely head, eyes and neck AND he is absolutely a wonderful animal with an amazingly gentle disposition. Hessel is what people dream about when they think of Friesian. He is a farm favorite with his lovely looks, tons of FEATHERS, mane/tail/forelock; his great temperament and his big and powerful movement. Hessel is already over 17 hands for those owners looking to breed for a taller Friesian sporthorse - yet he is very light on his feet and athletic. Hessels trot is extremely smooth and fun to ride with a BIG uphill canter! His bloodlines are stellar, he is a future star and he will make you fall in LOVE with Friesians if you have not already done so. He is so lovely both inside and out that he deserves every opportunity to become a sire of Friesian sporthorses for the future. Hessel will be showing IFSHA and FHANA this year; coming out in dressage at Training and First Level to be shown by Mindy Price and beginning the journey of his career as a show horse, but his work ethic is already stellar and while his gaits under saddle are going to allow him to be very competitive in dressage; what you notice most about Hessel is his HEART. Every time he is worked he tries 100% and wants to please his trainer. Hessel is enjoying the atmosphere of a busy barn and while being tacked up or groomed you will find him with his head sticking out of his stall looking at all of the activity in the aisleways. This is a purebred Friesian stallion worth breeding your quality mare to and we remain VERY motivated to see as many Hessel foals out there as we can get.
